CNS depressants (anxiolytics, bar-biturates, sleeping aids, tranquilizers): Additive CNS depression may occur. Avoid concomitant use.
Epinephrine: Enhanced effects. Monitor child closely.
Heparin: Partially counteracts anticoagulant ef-fects. Monitor partial thromboplastin time.
MAO inhibitors: Interference with detoxification of drug, prolonging their central depressant and anticholinergic effects. Avoid concomitant use or use cautiously if necessary. Monitor child closely.
Sulfonylureas: Diminished effects. Monitor serum glucose levels.
Sun exposure: May cause photosensitivity reac-tions. Tell parents to take precautions of their children. |
